Trails

The BCRD plays a very important role in maintaining and advocating for a vibrant trail system in our community. The BCRD manages and maintains the Wood River Trail, helps to support the Harriman Trail, and manages over 160 kilometers of some of the best Nordic Trails in the world every winter. In addition, the BCRD owns Galena Lodge and works to support the Galena trail system in the amazing Sawtooth National Recreation Area.Under a new partnership with the BLM, the BCRD Wood River Valley Trails Coordinator also supports the Croy Creek Trail system and manages to Sun Valley Region Summer Trails Portal, a complete source for trail status, maps, and community information!
