Using The Calendar:
Interested in what things are going at camp this summer? Here's how: Use the blue buttons, or month tool to skip up to the month your child is attending camp (Camp Starts June 7th)
Use the blue arrow button to the right of the "Agenda" Tab to select or deselect the calendars that apply to your kiddo, i.e. if your child is a challenger, you can deselect Discovery and Explorer so that only their calendar appears. Check back often for updates as we fill summer with awesome adventures.
BCRD Day Camp is designed to keep kids active and engaged all summer long. Campers are in activity groups, based on age, where they participate in sports, outdoor adventures, cooperative games, and arts & crafts. This recreation-based camp encourages kids to experience new activities, make new friends, and develop healthy habits.
Where is BCRD Day Camp?
All of our day camp programs are based out of the HUB, in the Community Campus, in Hailey, Idaho. We pride ourselves in providing healthy active programming. We are often out and about using many of the outdoor resources the Wood River Valley has to offer. The Community Campus is also a great center for many other programs including Ballet, Volleyball camp, Chess Camp, centrally located we find that many campers take advantages of these other opportunities, and we are happy to shuttle them during the day.
When is BCRD Day Camp?
Day camp is 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, June 7th to August 25th.
*Camp will be closed July 4th for Independence Day*
Each Friday campers have the opportunity to travel to local destinations for fun and adventure. Register early as bus seating is limited.
What does my child need to bring to camp each day?
Each day campers need appropriate clothing for being outside, including sturdy shoes, a day pack to carry: swimsuit, sunscreen, sunhat, a lunch and water, on bike days campers that know how to ride a bike are encouraged to bring their own bike.
Lunch and 2 Snacks
Please send a healthy sack lunch and two snacks with your child every day. Purchase of lunch is not an option. Snacks for purchase are available in the afternoons, all snack prices $1 and under. Need help with lunches, inquire more options by contacting Nicole Fisher, Program Coordinator.
