Galena Lodge Nestled 30 miles north of Kecthum, Galena Lodge is one of the true treasures of our area. Originally an 1880's mining town, the lodge became a general store, fishing destination, and eventually a recreational destination. With the help of the community, the BCRD purchased Galena Lodge in 1994 to maintain this incredible historical and outdoor treasure. In both seasons Galena offers incredible cuisine, friendly service and vast recreational opportunities. Don Shepler and Erin Zell now manage the lodge.
