About the Aquatic Center
Welcome to your Neighborhood Outdoor Oasis!
The BCRD Aquatic Center is located next to the Community Campus and provides a fun and safe environment for kids and adults. We will open May 24th for the 2008 season and look forward to showing you all the improvements we've made! We hope you can join us this summer at your neighborhood outdoor oasis! Use the drop-down menu to find out about our programs and lessons for all ages.
Facilities:
- The main pool is a 25-yard, six-lane, heated pool. Aquatic toys, lap training equipment, ladders, easy entry steps, and a handicapped lift are all available.
- The wading pool is 15 feet by 25 feet, heated to approximately 85 degrees, and is one to 2 1/2 feet deep with easy entry steps. Aquatic toys and a spray feature complete the fun for the kids.
-
We added an Aquaclimb poolside climbing wall to the lap pool in 2007. Kids and anyone young at heart will enjoy the challenge!
- Professional Lifeguards are on duty during pool operating hours and are trained in water safety rescue. They’re also certified in infant, child, and adult CPR; supplemental oxygen, and AED use.
Season:
The Aquatic Center will open on May 24, 2008, with the Grand Opening Celebration taking place on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26th). Closing date for the 2008 season is September 7th.
